Good Summer Fun (2007-10-04)

What a great idea. The idea that cats and dogs are fighting a secret war under our noses is really cute. The story follows a young puppy who falls in with a group of secret agent dogs fighting to save the world from cat domination. Many cameo voices show up including Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Tobey McGuire and Jon Lovitz. Our young hero, Lou, is sent to save a special formula, created by scientist Jeff Goldblum, that will do away with all dog allergies. Obviously, the evil cats have different plans. It is a very clever plot and the special effects and jokes are really well done. It is mainly a kid’s film, but parents will enjoy it as well. Good summer fun. Rooster
