Not What I Thought (2007-12-06)
|
Liars! That is all I have to say to the people responsible for teasing movie trailers. You prepare yourself to watch a movie, but walk out of the theatre feeling cheated because the previews for the film were so deceiving. I THOUGHT that “We Own the Night” was going to be a SU-WEET movie about two brothers on opposite sides of the law. This film started out like that, with Mark Wahlberg being the good guy cop, and his brother Joaquin Phoenix being the bad drug-doing club owner, but ended up completely different.
All in all, I guess the movie was alright, definitely not bad acting, but I felt cheated out of a good movie. I had high hopes for this one, but was disappointed to find out I had been duped.
