Since it is holiday time, I'm going to throw up a holiday favorite pick. The Polar Express is a wonderful movie. It is very nostalgic and harkens back to Gomer and my childhood, when the magic of Christmas was still alive.
This was a landmark film a few years ago with the use of computer generation, and though the characters have some awkward animation, the story and beauty overcome that. If you get the chance, take your child and yourself to the 3-D version still making the rounds on I-MAX.
